Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, password, and selected role (athlete, business, or sales representative).

Profile Information

Athletes may provide sport, position, school, year, social media handles, follower counts, engagement rates, NIL rates, bio, profile image, and achievement history. Businesses may provide company name, industry, logo, description, and campaign preferences. Sales representatives may provide territory and performance information.

Payment Information

To process payouts and transactions, we collect billing details, tax identification numbers, and bank account or payment method information. Payment data is processed through secure third-party payment processors and is not stored on our servers.

Usage Data

We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Platform, including IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, campaigns viewed, and activity timestamps.

Communications

We retain records of communications between users and between users and ONEZERO support, including messages, campaign notes, and feedback submissions.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information for the following purposes:

  • Creating and managing your account and authenticating your identity
  • Matching athletes with relevant business campaigns and opportunities
  • Processing payments, payouts, and commissions
  • Facilitating communication between athletes and businesses

Between Users

Profile information is visible to other users for the purpose of facilitating NIL partnerships. Athletes' profiles are visible to businesses, and business campaign listings are visible to athletes. Payment details are never shared between users.

Service Providers

We share information with third-party service providers who help us operate the Platform, including payment processors, cloud hosting, email delivery, and analytics tools. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only for the services they provide to us.

Legal Compliance

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government regulation, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, the safety of users, or the public.

Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your data is transferred under different ownership.

If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13 without parental consent, please contact us immediately so we can remove the information.

9. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. After account closure, we retain certain information for legitimate business purposes, including legal compliance, dispute resolution, and fraud prevention.

Transaction and tax records may be retained for the period required by applicable law. Profile and campaign data is typically deleted within 90 days of account closure, unless retention is legally required.

10. International Users

The Platform is primarily designed for users in the United States. If you access the Platform from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

By using the Platform, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in the United States and other countries where we operate.
